It is a truism that Christians in the past, present and future claim that their God is Omniscient, Omnipresent, Omnipotent and Omnicarnivorent. In fact, he is the creator of all things both biotic and abiotic. He is the originator of ideals and good fortunes. But still, he is incapable of doing something.

Christians do not fail to provide adequate answer for the questions: who is God? Where is God? Even in the process of answering all these questions that arose about their God, Christians draw the argument ad infinito concerning the existence of God where everybody surrendered that God is the progenitor of all, he exists for himself and by himself and he is goodness itself. Orthodox Churches do not fail to catechize people that God is Spirit that exists for himself since ages ago, perfect, the creator of all to the extent that the so call atheists surrendered/submitted their claim and to have accepted that their solid argument can only be academic atheism. With all the victory of Christians over the kingdom of darkness, the Omnipotent God is still incapable of doing something
Originally, authentic Christian theology is open to criticism. Christian’s theological researchers are open-minded scholars, they are always objectives in their methodologies and explanations. They therefore allow the Holy Spirit to take charge in the explanation of the Holy Bible. What then, would somebody postulate to defeat open-truth about the person of God? And the wonderful attitude of Christian God is that he ceases not to reveal himself to his followers even on daily basis. He refuses not to manifest himself in a way in which his people will understand him better. Though, almost each tribe of Israelites described God as he appeared to her that is why some will call him: “My Rock of Salvation, Goshen, Eli-jah and so on. In whichever way he appears to one or in whichever one described him, He remains living God.
My exposition and the place where I am driving you to in this write-up is that Christian God is incapable of doing something.

In the consideration of the prayer of OUR FATHER, it appears there, a phrase that is reconsidered with the inspiration of the Holy Spirit that cannot do.
We can now say the prayer of OUR FATHER together: Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name;
thy kingdom come,
thy will be done
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us;
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.

“Lead us no into temptation” is the phrase that is theologically tenderly explained.
“Lead us not into temptation” is suggesting in this era’s philosophy that God is a “tempter”. That is, he is tempting people. In other words,  God is the one responsible for where people find themselves in temptation, difficulties, challenges, problems or any plight. The atheistic philosophy of this era ruminates that God is the one prompting people’ actions; And,  since God is the one that prompts people’s action, if one’s action  is evil, it means therefore: God prompts his action to be evil. By extension, God responsible for all human errors. Since is the author of all human will. In the first instance, if God has given one free-will to choose good or evil and human has will to choose either he/she cannot be rebuked for choosing evil. Because, if evil is nothing in the plan of God, why there is dual choice/wills? This is the philosophy of 21st century where people think that they are putting God to death.
This is not to establish any argument on either God is the author of evil or good, because, it will remain argumentum ad infinito for a faithless layman. But to note that WHERE OUR REASON ENDS FAITH BEGINS.

In fact, argumentum ad infinito is a return to God. If we persist arguing till the end of the world that we will see God as he really is; But, it may be dangerous for our getting into eternity.
As a result, God is not a tempter. There is no temptation in His relationship/will to human persons. HE IS INCAPABLE TO TEMPT, HE CANNOT BE TEMPTED, HE IS NOT THE AUTHOR OF ANY EVIL AT ALL BY ANY EXTENSION let alone we will beg him not to lead us into temptation. It is as if here that God is a leader who leads people to where he likes and he can lead people into temptation if he wills.
The logic of God’s revelation to human persons in the inspiration and explanationhere is that, GOD HELPS US NOT TO GET INTO TEMPTATION. HE IS CAPABLE OF HELPING US NOT TO GET INTO TEMPTATION AND HE IS CAPABLE OF DELIVERING US FROM ALL THAT IS EVIL. BUT HE IS INCAPABLE OF LEADING PEOPLE INTO TEMPTATION. By this time, we should have come to know  what God is capable and incapable of doing.
With the aforesaid, we can now recite the PRAYER OF OUR FATHER with proper consciousness of the phrase “Lead us not into temptation” which changed to:”help us not to get into temptation” therefore we say: Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us;
and HELP US NOT TO GET T INTO TEMPTATION, but deliver us from evil.

Bear in mind that this is not heretic, apostasy or deviation or declination in the authenticity of the Holy Bible. Revisit your scripture studies. Know this once more that: Bible is the word of God written in human language. Remember that God’s word is not faulty but human language is limited. Do not be denominationally superstitious and adamant that God cannot reveal himself again in the authentic interpretation of the scripture. This is because bible was not being dropped from the sky. It is written by the inspired men of God. Be sure that some possess traditional key to the Bible. They can trace its history from the beginning to its completion.
