AUGUR FOR 2019 NIGERIAN GENERAL ELECTIONS

Let us start with this little clarification of somethings.
In the Nigeria political system and election of leaders in quote, we have always run into polemical situations in identifying the function/mission of each post in the government. It is always annoying that (those to be in charge of things) are misinterpreting the meaning of the titles of their posts. People (youth) in the society have no time to read or discuss what matter most/ will make life better for them but preferred celebrating pornographies in the social media.

We have come to the realization of the fact that the titles like: president, senator, governor, chairman, honorable, minister, and councilor and so on, prompt those in charge of things in governance to be acting as the titles sound in human hearings.
Can you imagine that the president acts as if s/he is the owner of the whole world. Governors dish out order as if they are the ones governing the whole world. Chairmen share common good at their will without equity and equality. The honorable walk majestically to be saluted everywhere. Ministers do as if they monitor the movement of the sun. In a simple language, they do not see these titles in ambassadorial capacities to serve at different levels in the government. There is no doubt that have been experiencing backwardness in the country especially from these misinterpretations; this because, those in (governance) are acting as the titles sound in the human hearing.

This thought is exposing to us that we should CLARIFY and REDEFINE the meaning and function of each title. Permit me to put it like this: should not one bring it into consideration that those who are being elected into the position of authorities in this Nigeria (state) with those titles should be addressed as those in charge? That is, the person in charge of presidency: the person in charge of governance of the state, the person in charge of local government, the person in charge of different functions of ministries. This is because they are all tenants of the house.

This thought believes that they will be conscious of the functions of the titles rather than the prestige attached to the titles. It is not funny that politicians in position of authorities are refused to leave those seats of leadership in quote, may be they think that the titles are their surnames. At the end of their regime, when they complete the four years of their regime they will now come back to their senses that the titles are not their surnames. That is why, somebody who was a councilor will like to be a chairman of the local government, the former chairman of a Local Government will like to be in the house of assembly, and somebody who was in the house of assembly will like to go for another position in the House of Representatives. All is to retain past Lanka Dede.
It is a pity that only those in charge of authorities that blame-fingers are pointed to, as leaders are bad in quote the followers also are bad.

THE FAULTS OF THE (LEADERS IN QUOTE)
The first fault of leaders in quote is that they always make promises at their manifestoes but fail to fulfill them. The question is: must they make promise?
Inability and unwillingness to determine what next/needed, how to achieve what next.
Egoism/incompetence: inordinate desire on the part of the leaders. He knows that he cannot do it but he just wants gain the reputation of: “once a councilor, is a councilor forever”

THE FAULTS OF THE FOLLOWERS
No common sense. The followers are gullible: They are attracted with little baits at the campaigns for elections when politicians share Congo of rice to them
Inability to speak : the commoners are afraid to correct the error of the leaders
Relativism : The commoners are found guilty of insistence on an elected person:   He is our son or daughter, he will be the to do it
Fatherism : The political gladiators receive their shares at the expense of the common good
Partism: Our party must win or our party must be in charge.

THE AUGURS FOR 2019 NIGERIAN GENERAL ELECTIONS
It will remain an insult/assault for a person who is going to hold a post to make promise of any kind. Rather, IT IS THE DUTY/INITIATIVE OF THE FOLLOWERS TO DECIDE WHAT IS NEEDED TO BE DONE IN EACH LOCALITY. THIS IS BECAUSE IT IS NOT THE PERSONAL MONEY OF THE LEADERS WHICH WILL BE USED FOR ANY PROJECT. HOW THEN, SHOULD THE LEADERS HAVE MOUTHS TO SAY THEY/S/HE WILL PROVIDE BORE-HOLE FOR A COMMUNITY WHERE ELECTRICITY IS NEEDED? The responsibilities of the presidents, governors, chairpersons, ministers, honourables, is to monitor and co-ordinate the affairs of things. IF ANY POLITICIAN SAYS: S/HE WILL DO THIS OR THAT, S/HE IS PLANNING TO EMBEZZLE OUR COMMONWEALTH.
EACH COMMUNITY SHOULD COMPILED HER NEEDS IN SCALE OF PREFERENCE  BEFORE ELECTIONS
NO REGIME SHOULD NOT DECEIVE HERSELF THAT SHE WILL SOLVE ALL THE PROBLEMS IN THE COUNTRY, If it is just EDUCATION that a regime will face let her face it and excel in it. WHY DOES A REGIME WILL COUNT THE VANISH OF AN EPIDEMIC DISEASE AS PART OF HER ACHEIVEMENT? IT KNOWN THAT THERE IS SEPARATE MONEY FOR UNEXPECTED EXPENDITURE.
THE NEXT REGIME SHOULD OPEN FILE TO THE PAST RECORDS SO THAT SHE WILL KNOW WHERE THE PAST REGIME STOPPED WORK.
Experts should be chosen as ministers at different levels of ministries: Not that somebody who read commerce will be MINISTER OF HEALTH
Petrol should not be sold at different prices by dealers
Each body of the government should open BANK ACCOUNT through which revenues, bills, fines will be paid
Police vehicles should be fueled by the government for efficiency. Do not give money. Let them collect fuel from NNPC and NNPC should be paid later
No citizen, no citizen should pay any to any Fines/bills police by cash. It should be paid into the bank.
Any CENTRICISM: eg, Religion, culture, status, gender should be treated as crime.
Work/job opportunity should be given based on merit and appropriation. Not that, there is recruitment into Federal Civil Engineering Department and an NCE holder will get the job first through long leg when her/his major are not related.
There should unified/general requirements for admission into all higher institution of learnings.
Accountability should not be joked with. Not the government will like to build classrooms and only shovel will be bought.
GOVERNMENT SHOULD DETERMINE, EITHER BY FIRE OR BY FORCE THE PRICE OF ELECTRO-GADGETS TO BECOME AFFORDABLE FOR ALL PEOPLE ESPECIALLY THE YOUTH SO THAT THE PEOLPLE WILL BE INFORMATIVE.
The next regime should single out what she will face out of these: Education, Economy, health, agriculture, industries, electricity, water, roads.

Finally, it remains an insult, assault, exploitation, corruption, injustice  for a politician to say S/he will do anything. Rather, the commoners suggest what is to be done in each community of the society
THIS THOUGHT MAY SOUND LIKE A LAW, IT IS NOT A LAW BUT AUGUR FOR 2019 NGERIAN GENERAL ELECTION.
