HAGIOCORRUPCRACY is a terminology coined by ‘Bisi-Oluwole to explain the situation of things in the  country Nigeria where Razzle-dazzle is the order of the day in every ramification. It is coined to summarise and to navigate the cries of people on the agitation of bad governance at all levels where individual finds himself or herself.
This terminology will not be elaborately discussed.

What is Hagiocorrupcracy?

Therefore, etymologically, HAGIOCORRUPCRACY is coined by ‘Bisi-Oluwole from both Greek and English languages. “HAGIO” from Greek language means: Holy. “CORRUP” is derived from English word: corruption. While “CRACY” is an English word too, means: Rule.  The combination of these three words means: HOLY CORRUPTION RULES. It is not new again that this country Nigeria is tagged to have been  placed in a higher rank in the scale of corruption in the world. We must have made a great mistake to ask “WHY” when an authority said or defined CORRUPTION as a way of life in Nigeria. It means that, corruption is the oil that fuels the governance of this country in every sphere. It therefore means, no sector  is not a victim of corruption.  So, with the look of things, holy corruption rules over every sphere of the country including anti-dote which is religion: In fact, Neo-Corruption puts on the regalia of Religion. If corruption is found in the country, and corruption is found in every sphere of the country, therefore, corruption rules the country.

Back to the authority that said or saw corruption as a way of life; if corruption is truly our way of life in this country Nigeria, “everybody should have been benefitting from positive fruits of corruption”. But that is not the case; I will conclude that corruption is not our way of life because it is only chosen by some people (bullies) to be lived on at the expense of the commoners.

Whenever you hear of a man doing a great thing, you may be sure that behind it somewhere is a great background.  It may be a mother's training, a father's example, a teacher's influence, or an intense experience of his own, but it has to be there or else the great achievement does not come, no matter
how favorable the opportunity. When we hear people ready to speak of the faults of others, or to censure them as holding scandalous errors, or to lessen the wisdom and piety of those about them, that they themselves may seem the wiser and better, this is a sign that they have but a vain religion. A candle is a small thing.  But one candle can light another.  And as it gives its flames to the other, see how its own light increases!  Light is the power to dispel darkness.  You have this power to move back the darkness in yourself and in others with the birth of light created when one mind illuminates another, when one heart kindles another, when one man strengthens another.  And its flame also enlarges within you as you pass it on.

Razzle-dazzle is a skill that may make one to win Gold in an Olympic. But it is an aberration in the realm of godly. What a pitiful allusions, they said, “Come, let us make plots against them, for the law shall not perish from the judge nor counsel from the sagacious, nor the word from the eloquent. Come, let us smite them with their tongues, and let us not heed any of their words."But they were like a gentle lamb led to the slaughter. they did not know it was against them they devised schemes, saying, "Let us destroy the tree with its fruit, and let us cut it off from this realm, that it may be remembered no more. Is evil a recompense for good? Yet they have dug a pit for their lives. Behold how they stood to speak good for them, to turn away disaster from them. For without cause they hid their net for them; without cause they dug a pit for their life. They set a net for their steps; their souls were bowed down. The stump on the way, but they have dashed their foot on it.  In return for his love they accuse them, even as they seeks their good.

So they treasure evil for good, and hatred for love. "Cursed is the one who trusts in mortal man and makes flesh his arm. Woe to the rebellious element, who carries out the mind of devil; and who make a league, but not of  good, that they may add sin to sin;  Woe to those who hide deep from justice their counsel, whose deeds are in the dark, and who say, "Who sees us? Who knows us?" "Woe to the rebellious elements," who set out to go down to Sodom, who take refuge in the protection of duty, and seek shelter in the shadow of unintelligent consciousness. Would their protection of duty not turn to their shame, and the shelter in the shadow of conscious conscience turn to their humiliation? They like a shrub in the desert, and shall not see any good come. Shall they not dwell in the parched places of the wilderness, in an uninhabited salt land?

Take heed to the words of the wise Oh you powerful, and hearken to their lessons. "Blessed are those who tap from the power of Prudence, whose trust is Wisdom. They are like a tree planted by water, that sends out its roots by the stream, and does not fear when heat comes, for its leaves remain green, and is not anxious in the year of drought, for it does not cease to bear fruit." The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately corrupt; who can understand it? "Only the Prudence searches the mind and tries the heart” Incline your ear to rescue speedily unjudgeable judger! Be a rock of refuge, a strong fortress to save powerless! In your righteousness deliver and rescue; incline your ear, and save O just judge.

Look at the ones whose fortitude is their arrow, and their fortress, and their deliverer, their Sword, their rock, in which they take refuge, their shield, and the horn of their safety, their stronghold. Wisdom leads them in the path of knowledge and understanding; Take them out of the net which is hidden for them by their temperance. Into your hand they commit their spirits o virtues. Temperance hates those who pay regard to vain hypocritical idols knowledge has taken heed of their adversities and has not delivered them into the hand of the ignorance. They are charged in the presence of Justice and Wisdom who are to judge all. Fortitude says to them that, say the word of Wisdom, be urgent, waste no time, and be convinced of positivity, rebuke, and exhort, be unfailing in patience and in teaching. For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own likings. And will turn away from listening to the truth and wander into myths. As for you, the honesty, always be steady, continue to endure suffering, do the work of a wise. For honesty ones already on the point of being sacrificed; their time has come. Just ones have fought the good fight, they have finished the race, they have kept the treasure. Henceforth there is laid up for the honesty the prize of righteousness, which the Wisdom, the righteous and just judge, will award to Fortitude, and not only to Fortitude but also to knowledge and understanding.
